4 Stars Great For Toddlers
My 2 1/2 year old son totally loves Spider-Man. These are great for him because since he is very little and doesn’t have that great of finger control he has trouble setting up some action figures. This series is made for a kid his age. They have big feet and not a whole lot of moving joints (just hips, shoulders and neck). He loves this series!!

1 Stars Flimsy, poor-quality toy.
We bought this toy and another from the Spiderman and Friends series for our four-year old twins’ birthday. Unfortunately, the toy never woeked even out of the package as the tentacles don’t turn as described. The toy also isn’t painted well: there are green splotches of paint in the orange areas and the paint job looks sloppy. Both Spiderman and Friends toys we have are very flimsy, especially compared to the much sturdier Rescue Heroes toys. The backpacks don’t stay on properly and my boys have already tossed the toys aside as it’s too frustrating to try and play with them.

5 Stars A very nice, well made building toy
This toy is very fun and will not fall apart like some mega blocks and lego sets.It includes two minature figures, four pumkin bombs(pumkin like grenades), one strechy /sticky web, and pumkin bomb cannon , and the base and other pieces. It is convenient because all the pieces minifig pumkin bombs and base go in spider-man’s head.It is very educational because it teaches young children(and maybe even adults)building skills.Overall it is worth your money.

1 Stars I hate this toy! Unstable and falls apart
This toy is more unstable than a model car or airplane. My 8 year old called it “complicated.”

The pieces fall apart as you try and put a piece back that has fallen off. The balls do not go down the shoot; they get stuck.

The cannon is dangerous and shoots out a very fast, hard ball. Get out of the way.

If I could, I’d shellack or hairspray the whole toy and put it high on a shelf to be only looked at, not played with. You touch it and it falls apart. How do you “play” wtih it?

What a headache for all.

4 Stars Fun toy. Nice scene, with lots to do.
This is a fun toy. My seven year old son received this for his birthday and he loves it. I think it is a nice sized scene for the price and it even comes with its own case. It also has a gun that is fun to use. I recommend this set for any kid that loves legos and Spidermen.

I ordered this, had no idea my computer was too slow for it. Make sure you have a new enough one, maybe with graphics capability. It had great reviews, so I’m sure it’s a good one–it’s my ignorance that made it dissapointing for us.

3 Stars Spiderman 3 Secret Lab Assault Mega Lego Set

Some of the pieces are quite small and difficult to snap together. Our six-year-old grandson and his grandfather built it together the day after Christmas, with the grandson mostly watching because the pieces were too small for him to snap together securely. Now that it’s together, he is enjoying playing with it.

4 Stars Good introductory set for little hands
We bought this for my son, who was 3 at the time. He really enjoys playing with his “blocks” and superheroes. This set was a decent value, in that it includes 3 superheroes….the others in this series come with two. He ejnoys playing with this set so much, that he has asked for more blocks so he can build bigger towers and castles! We just purchased a 250 piece tub (with plenty of additional space inside for “extras”). I’ve looked at some of the other coordinating sets (the one with the hulk figure, etc.) and some of the pieces seem to be the same from set to set (e.g a tree, a slide, etc.) If you’re looking for one set to get them started, I would recommend this one. It has enough to play with for a toddler, without taking over their whole room!

2 Stars Fun action figures but not durable
My son was so excited to get this toy until we put it together and it continually fell apart. Eventually it was put away and we kept the 3 figures it came with out. My sons love playing with those, we put them with the traditional legos duplos. Mega Brands dont fit well or stay together the way Lego brands do.

3 Stars Good Idea…Needs Some Work
My boys (2 and 3) love Spiderman and blocks, so I thought this would be great for them. They love the figures, but become frustrated when the blocks do not stay together. The various blocks don’t seem to fit together very tightly (unlike the Bob the Builder blocks made by another manufacturer which stay together well…allowing for movement and action). I’d give the toy five stars if the blocks were “stronger” and fit together better. They still have fun playing with the figures and creating different play areas for them.

5 Stars ULTIMATE RHINO!!
This is an exceptional action figure. Rhino is one of the classic Spiderman villians that has finally been done a little justice. When he was first released back in the Spiderman Classics series of 2000, he wasn’t articulated nearly enough. This one is. He’s not really “superposeable”, but he can be used with a greater level of satisfaction than before. He could have been made a little bigger, but you won’t miss that. His wrists and ankles tend to get real loose with extended play–which is almost expected from ToyBiz products. He has a nice accessory that first came with a Series 3 Hulk Movie figure. It’s a breakable wall that collapses when Rhino hits it. You can squeeze Rhino’s legs together to make his right arm throw a punch. He has a MEAN look on his face and the horn on his head is quite safe. It bends under pressure and will assume its usual shape when pressure is removed from it. This is VERY IMPORTANT if you care about your child’s eye not getting stuck with it. This figure is an absolute must for Spiderman fans and is money well spent.
