4 Stars Good introductory set for little hands
We bought this for my son, who was 3 at the time. He really enjoys playing with his “blocks” and superheroes. This set was a decent value, in that it includes 3 superheroes….the others in this series come with two. He ejnoys playing with this set so much, that he has asked for more blocks so he can build bigger towers and castles! We just purchased a 250 piece tub (with plenty of additional space inside for “extras”). I’ve looked at some of the other coordinating sets (the one with the hulk figure, etc.) and some of the pieces seem to be the same from set to set (e.g a tree, a slide, etc.) If you’re looking for one set to get them started, I would recommend this one. It has enough to play with for a toddler, without taking over their whole room!
2 Stars Fun action figures but not durable
My son was so excited to get this toy until we put it together and it continually fell apart. Eventually it was put away and we kept the 3 figures it came with out. My sons love playing with those, we put them with the traditional legos duplos. Mega Brands dont fit well or stay together the way Lego brands do.
3 Stars Good Idea…Needs Some Work
My boys (2 and 3) love Spiderman and blocks, so I thought this would be great for them. They love the figures, but become frustrated when the blocks do not stay together. The various blocks don’t seem to fit together very tightly (unlike the Bob the Builder blocks made by another manufacturer which stay together well…allowing for movement and action). I’d give the toy five stars if the blocks were “stronger” and fit together better. They still have fun playing with the figures and creating different play areas for them.

5 Stars ULTIMATE RHINO!!
This is an exceptional action figure. Rhino is one of the classic Spiderman villians that has finally been done a little justice. When he was first released back in the Spiderman Classics series of 2000, he wasn’t articulated nearly enough. This one is. He’s not really “superposeable”, but he can be used with a greater level of satisfaction than before. He could have been made a little bigger, but you won’t miss that. His wrists and ankles tend to get real loose with extended play–which is almost expected from ToyBiz products. He has a nice accessory that first came with a Series 3 Hulk Movie figure. It’s a breakable wall that collapses when Rhino hits it. You can squeeze Rhino’s legs together to make his right arm throw a punch. He has a MEAN look on his face and the horn on his head is quite safe. It bends under pressure and will assume its usual shape when pressure is removed from it. This is VERY IMPORTANT if you care about your child’s eye not getting stuck with it. This figure is an absolute must for Spiderman fans and is money well spent.
